Fowey Harbour Commissioners approached us to design a book to celebrate their 150 year anniversary.
I worked with Emma Mansfield who wrote and collated the journey down the estuary through the years.
This book is filled with great facts and imagery from the Fowey River and is a joy to read.
As well as the book, we had to design an addition to the logo that celebrated the 150 year anniversary.
To purchase the book call Fowey Harbour Commission: 01726 832471

Design a new brand for Brunel Two, a select development situated in the popular town of Lostwithiel.
Brunel Two is the second stage of an existing development which is separated from Brunel Quays by the South West Main Line Train service. This was the idea behind the logo splitting the words with a line and using colours that were complimentary to the Great Western Train service of old.
Brunel two offers an exciting range of 1 and 2 bedroom apartments and 3 bedroom townhouses with either private gardens and or large terraced balconies. Also included 13 affordable units to be sold at percentage of market value.
A great project with Steve Tanner and Amanda Harris which portrays an intimate account and photographic study of writers and their writing spaces in Cornwall.
The Big Lunch aims to get as many people in the UK as possible to have lunch with their neighbours on one day – this year on Sunday June 7. The idea comes from the Eden Project, is funded by BIG Lottery Fund and is partnered by Asda and Halifax.
We worked with the Big Lunch team to move the Big Lunch brand on a year, keeping the existing feel but updating the overall image.
The initial brief was to design a new collage that would then be used across the set of brand literature.
Our idea was based around a continuous circle of big lunches that all fitted around a circular table this showed the different communities all over the country taking part in the annual event.
The circular design allowed different areas to be cropped for separate pieces of literature within the welcome pack.
We also collaborated with Magic Light Pictures to incorporate characters from The Gruffalow, The Gruffalow's Child and Room on the Broom for posters and stickers included in the Big Lunch Welcome Pack.
Create a fun and firery identity and brand design for this new chilli company.

Create a memorable and fresh identity which communicates the charities support for memory illness.
We wanted the identity to be easily remembered, so we used a chuncky graphic shapes to represent the two letter m's and a bright green to make it really fresh and stand out from the page.
The design was well received by the client.
Lovely little books punch way above their weight, they are packed full of fantastic nuggets of information about the county they are written on and would grace any coffee table.
We have worked with the author, Emma Mansfield on Cornwall, Devon, Pasty, Dorset, London and Clays and we have a number of other titles in the pipe line.
The latest in a long line of successful books is The Little Book of Surfing, it was launched last year and was greatly received and endorsed by many of the worlds top surfers.
HotSwell are a new surf fore-casting website company, they wanted a brand that would fit straight into the current surf trends but they also wanted to look established.
The idea was inspired from when an off shore wind hits the face of a wave, not only does it push up the wave, it creates spray, we replaced the spray with the flames which visually translates the company name.
We also created a stand alone typographic logo to be used with or without the ident. This gives more flexibility when applying the brand to printed materials and clothing ranges. We also helped with skinning the website and designing printed material, point of sale and web banners.

Create an eye catching and friendly identity for this Cornish festival of art and culture.
2013 marks the tenth anniversary of Charles Causley's death. Causley was a writer, primarily of poetry. But he was also a dramatist and a very competent musician. Add to this his collection of original artworks, and we see a man with a range of tastes across a variety of art forms. This, the fourth Charles Causley Festival, mirrors the broad passions of a man who was dedicated to his art. We can offer you poetry, literature, art exhibitions, storytelling, film and music and much more. There are events for all ages and all tastes. We hope you enjoy the festival and help to establish its growing reputation.

The Peninsula Learning Trust is a group of schools clustered around St Austell Bay and the surrounding region in beautiful South Cornwall.
The Trust has a discrete geographical area that it works with to ensure that the Directors of the Trust understand the context of each school within the trust and that staff from those schools are close enough to work together collaboratively. The Trust has two simple objectives:
Improve every school to become outstanding through sharing school improvement activity, challenging each other to do even better and offering support.
Help headteachers and governors focus on the progress of children by bringing together centrally all the ‘back office functions’ of the schools and removing this burden from individual school leaders. This generates savings and greater effectiveness but is still a local, responsive service.
We wanted to show a link to the sea because of the geographical position of the Trust, the logo represents different bodies of water all meeting together in a continuous tide, it has a clean modern feel which is simple in shape but more in-depth when looking closer.

The Big Brew is a charity event set up by PSS to in recognition of International Hyperemesis Gravardium Awareness day. A simple idea designed to get sufferers and their friends and family to hold tea parties to highlight the condition and the charities work.
The charity wanted a fun, light hearted logo and matching print work to publicise the event. They were very happy with the outcome.
Caitlin Dean runs a charity called PSS (Pregnancy Sickness Support) for the sufferers of Hyperemesis Gravidarum, HG for short. In her spare time she writes a blog called Spewing Mummy about HG from the perspective of a HG sufferer. We worked together to design a logo for the blog which mainly incorporates useful information for sufferers.
The Brand is mainly for digital purposes.
We designed a Calendar for use when pregnant, broken into Trimesters to give important hints and tips for the pregnancy journey and a certificate that the sufferer can give to the partner who is sometimes forgotten in all the turmoil that the condition brings.

The brief was to design a fun solution to give buyers a visual system that explained the workings of each toy, weather it rattled, rolled, stacked or played music.
We used symbols to represent each of the toys functions and packaged the catalogue in a colourful and chunky format which physically represented the products which were displayed inside, it was greatly received by the client and the retail market.
Lostwithiel School approached us to design a fresh new prospectus. This was a very exciting project that needed a fun approach to the final look and feel.
We decided to use the school motto "Learning, Sharing, Achieving, Together" as the way to build the prospectus, and use as a sub brand to run alonside the existing school logo.
